I'm Lucía Blasco, a bilingual multimedia journalist and multimedia producer based in Madrid. For eight years at BBC News in London I produced video explainers, news reports and long-form features for BBC News Mundo, made radio for the BBC World Service — producing and presenting BBC Resolves: Life After Covid‑19 — and directed the documentary What to Do With Our Waste, distributed worldwide in English and Spanish.
Since 2023 I've worked at Euronews, producing and voicing international news for the Spanish service, for web and television. I've also produced the documentary podcast Life Changes and interviewed Nobel laureates Muhammad Yunus and Shirin Ebadi.
